One of my incentives for setting up Pomegranate Travel, was my own experience of bringing people to Israel when I got married here in 2010. We invited a load of international friends from all walks of life to our wedding, and we were just amazed by the turnout. Once we realised how many people would be making the trip, we understood this was our chance to showcase the country a little.
We organised a classic tour of Jerusalem, a nightlife tour of Tel Aviv and a crazy moonlit desert hike which started at midnight and ended at 6am as we watched the sun rise over the Negev – an adventure which people still talk about today!
We understand that you have most likely chosen to celebrate your special day in Israel for a reason, and we would be thrilled to help you share this country with your friends and family. We also work closely with a number of wedding planners and would be happy to recommend someone just right for you, should you need assistance with the big day itself.
Because each wedding group is so different in its composition, we have not suggested a specific tour here. However, here are some activities which you might consider combining into a full tour for your party:
First-time Israel Guests
A day tour of the Old City of Jerusalem is a must!
Highlights of the Judean Desert including a tour of Masada and a dip in the Dead Sea.
A tour of Ancient Jaffa and Modern Tel Aviv.
For foodie types be sure to include one of our fabulous market tours.
Returning Israel Guests
Explore the North of Israel like you have never seen it before: off-road jeep rides, winery tours, hidden ancient synagogues and much more.
Venture into the Deserts of the South for a different view of Israel: Discover lost Nabatean cities, desert wineries, jeeping, hiking and rappelling.
Treat your guests to an exclusive private meeting with one of our leading experts, whether in the field of geopolitics and strategy, the start-up nation, or culture and sport.
Honeymoon in Israel
Many of our special bride and groom guests choose to stay on in Israel after their guests depart for a few days of relaxation and romance. We love Beresheet Hotel and the Cramim Spa and know just the rooms to suggest!
Hen and Stag Weekends in Israel
If you are planning your hen or stag here in Israel, then please ask us as we are full of ideas! For the boys (or the girls?), how about an IDF training day? For the girls (or the boys?) how about a chef led market tour followed by cooking workshop and private dinner (liquid included!) in our chef’s private atelier?
It’s quite simple, Pomegranate Travel organized the best holiday we have ever been on, and given that it was a tour for a very particular crowd, and that the tour involved planning events for our wedding, and then our honeymoon, it was a huge task, and because we chose Pomegranate Travel, it was an even bigger success.
