Reminiscent of the glory days of the Ottoman Empire, two painstakingly restored villas recreate an environment of opulent luxury.
The Efendi

Louis HaTshi'i St, Akko, 24124, Israel ·  View map

Marble floors, lofty ceilings, oriental arched windows, and intricately painted ceilings combine to create a modern boutique hotel, which is also a piece of Acre’s history.

The Efendi’s restoration was a grand project, involving local and international experts, including a team from Venice’s School for Historic Preservation, working with great love on each and every restorative detail. Generous and rich breakfasts are served around a large communal table, and dinner is available at Uri Buri, the hotel’s sister restaurant, famous throughout Israel for its delicious, fresh fish dishes.

Espresso machines and free Wi-Fi come as standard. The Efendi is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection.
Please ask about including this hotel in your Northern Israel touring itinerary.

The hotels were all excellent. The fish restaurant linked to the Efendi was fantastic and probably the best sea food I have had. The tasting menu just kept getting better and better. It wasn’t just the fish it was the sauces and the accompaniments.
