Red Sea

Egypt’s red sea is the perfect place for total relaxation following a busy cultural tour.  There is year round sunshine (though in the summer perhaps a little too much!), wonderful resorts for couples and families, and the option of either totally chilling by the pool and sea, or having a more ‘active time out’ snorkelling or diving the Red Sea, trying your luck swimming with dolphins, or enjoying desert adventures such as 4×4 experiences, camel safaris and more.

We usually recommend a complete Egypt tour and then flying about an hour from Cairo to one of the Red Sea resorts of Sharm el Sheik or Hurghada, or alternatively driving from Luxor to Hurghada.   Both Sharm and Hurghada are home to large full service internationally branded resorts, but if you are an adults only party looking for something boutiquey and sophisticated you might also consider El Gouna which is close to Sharm el Sheik.
